How Do I Find the Best Place to Get Dental Work Done?

First, establish what you think is most important when undergoing dental care. This may be a combination of factors like location, hours, credentials, safety, organization, payments, and insurance. You’ll want to know the type of dental treatment that you’re looking for, as certain practices will be more suited than others for particular services. For instance, are you looking to improve your smile with veneers or replace missing teeth with dental implants? Also, you should try getting a feel for the dental practice itself to see how the team works and interacts with their patients. Do they prioritize one-on-one treatment and offer completely personalized care? The good news is our dentist near Palmer, Dr. Dhillon does just that!

How Much Does a Dental Checkup & Cleaning Cost Near Palmer?

The total cost of a dental checkup and cleaning will depend on various factors, including a patient’s dental health and geographic location. Still, on average, the market across the United States typically prices these visits somewhere between $200 and $350. Those who have dental insurance may have their fees negotiated by their provider and Dr. Dhillon, so it’s best to double-check your benefits to see how to maximize them. During these appointments, you can expect an evaluation of your oral health and dental history and a conversation about your smile goals and concerns. You’ll also typically expect X-rays, professional cleaning, and an oral cancer screening.

How Do I Get Emergency Dental Care?

If you suspect your teeth, gums, or mouth are moderately to severely injured, then you’ll need to call our office straight away so we can pencil you in as quickly as possible. Remember, however, that life-threatening situations, such as difficulty breathing or swallowing, uncontrollable bleeding, and a dislocated or broken jaw, will require help from your local ER instead. While you might not have your dental issue treated right away, you’ll at least remain safe and pain-free until we can help you. Remember that dental emergencies are often signs of more pressing oral problems, so it’s essential that you visit us every six months for checkups and cleanings to minimize your risks down the road.

What Do You Do If You Can’t Afford a Dentist?

The best way to lower your out-of-pocket expenses on dental care is to practice good oral hygiene daily and to schedule regular checkups biannually. If you have dental insurance, make sure to consult your provider or our team members so that you can understand the details of your plan and make the most of your benefits. Our practice also works with CareCredit—a third-party financing company that can help turn the cost of your dental treatments into monthly, low-to-zero interest installments.
